Tina’s Record: Governor Tina Kotek is standing up to President Trump to defend abortion rights, vote-by-mail, and Oregonians’ fundamental freedoms. She successfully blocked his unlawful attempt to deploy the Oregon National Guard into Oregon. When Trump tried to take SNAP benefits away, Tina declared a hunger emergency to make sure local food banks had the resources they needed to help Oregonians across the state. Once food assistance was restored, her team worked through the night to make sure food benefits were back in Oregonians' accounts the next day.
